Laura Peña, TCL’s Commercial Manager for the Caribbean, stated that the TCL 405, TCL 408 and TCL 40 SE cell phones are high-tech, affordable and adaptable for all audiences. He stated that these models are the most economical within their range of specifications compared to other competitors.
He highlighted that all these devices have FREE accessories in the box: screen protector + wired headphones + protective cover.

Model TCL 405
The TCL 405 measures 164.7 x 75.4 x 9 mm and weighs 190g. It has a 6.6″ inch IPS LCD display. The resolution is 720 x 1600 and 266 ppi pixel density.
The front camera is Single with 5 MP. The main camera is Dual with 13 MP + 2 MP and 5MP front.
It runs on Octa-core CPU (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53) with 64GB ROM + 2GB RAM. The battery is 5000 mAh.
About TCL 408
The TCL 408 is a device that features 64GB external memory + 64GB external memory as a gift, bringing its total memory capacity to 128GB ROM + 6GB RAM. It has a 6.6” inch display.
It has a Mediatek processor of a Helio P22. In battery it has 5,000 mAh. It also has a triple dual main camera of 50MP+2MP and 8MP front.
Other highlights is that it comes with fingerprint sensor on the side. And as far as software is concerned, these terminals incorporate TCL’s own customization layer called TCL UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13.
TCL 40 SE
The TCL 40 SE has a screen of almost 7 inches, with bright angles and colors.
It features IPS technology and HD+ resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels), with a density of 260 ppi. It also incorporates a series of codecs that improve the quality of wireless audio.
In order to unlock the mobile, the phone has a fingerprint sensor and facial recognition, the latter being dependent on the front camera.
This TCL 40 SE is equipped with a Mediatek Helio G37 brain. The aforementioned processor has as companions two different memories: 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This amount of RAM is enough to prevent apps from crashing and, by the way, provide acceptable multitasking.
The TCL 40 SE charges a 5,010 mAh battery. The camera app is quite comprehensive, we have auto mode, video (1080p/30fps as maximum resolution), portrait and ‘Pro’ mode. It hides some more functions in a submenu that enables us to use the night mode, the 50 megapixel mode, and other creative styles such as Stop Motion, light tracking or Super Macro (this name receives access to the macro sensor). It includes a night mode that lengthens the exposure time to rescue some light in difficult situations.
It has a triple main camera of 50MP+2MP+2MP. Its front camera is 8 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture, bright and adaptable to the environment. And as far as software is concerned, these terminals incorporate TCL’s own customization layer called TCL UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13.
