It is not the first time that Tim Cook is said to respond to the majority of emails he receives. On this occasion, a couple of emails about stories related to the health functions of the Apple Watch seem to have struck a chord with the Apple CEO. It is worth discovering them.
During the last Wonderlust hardware presentation event, before the announcement of the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, the Californian company revealed to the world a series of emotional stories – with a high level of production, as usual at Apple – about Apple Watch users who had suffered heart rhythm problems.
“I’m here today, and so is my daughter,” Jess Kelly declared in the introduction to Apple’s Wonderlust event after heart rate monitoring saved her life and that of her baby. “I appreciate life and this other opportunity,” said Tasha Prescott. Her Apple Watch notified her that she had a very low heart rate, she went to the hospital and doctors operated on her.
Tim Cook responds to new cases in which the Apple Watch saves the lives of its users
Michael Gallegos, a citizen of Wichita (United States), has sent an email to Tim Cook to thank the implementation of the Apple Watch ECG system, which saved his life when his heart rate dropped below 40 beats per minute for more than 10 minutes according to KAKE, a local news portal.
“They said I was very lucky. And, you know, good choice by my son to give me the watch. Because, you know, I never would have known. It could have been too late. I probably would have died while he was sleeping.”

On the other hand, a 61-year-old man living in Asheville (North Carolina) named Christopher Oakely wrote to Tim Cook after having had a heart attack. His heart rate accelerated to 121-151 beats per minute “all night long.”
Tim Cook also responded:
Christopher,
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I am very glad you received the treatment you needed.
Take care of yourself.
Memories.

There is no better marketing strategy than announcing that a device is capable of saving your life. And it is not an exaggeration, it is clearly demonstrated, the Apple Watch includes numerous functions that have saved the lives of many people such as accident detection, fall detection, SOS emergencies, heart rate monitoring via electrocardiogram (ECG). We know numerous stories in which the Apple Watch has saved the lives of many people. Who knows, maybe you’ll be next.
